Jr. Farmers is a one-of-a-kind program offered at The Children’s Farm. This program is designed for children ages 3-12 and provides a natural environment to really explore one’s love for animals and nature. We offer Jr. Farmer sessions seasonally though out the year, with all seasonal sessions embracing the natural wonders occurring right then! Spring sessions focus mainly on baby farm animals. Children are able to explore their passion for animals while interacting with baby chicks, ducklings, bunnies, piglets, kids, lambs, and more! As the temperature gets warmer and we move into summer months, Jr. Farmers will help pick grasses for the rabbits, collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop, and keep the pigs cool with showers from the hose!

Our Junior Farmer program is directed by Miss Kay Ardizzone. Miss Kay has been on our staff for many decades and absolutely loves enlightening children about farm life and farm animals. She has a compassion for animals beyond belief and can really portray that to all of her students.

We are currently taking registration for our summer sessions. Registration is taken in our main office or by mail. We encourage you to call and check availability before mailing as classes do fill up.

“They’ll Touch, They’ll Learn, They’ll enjoy…”
