About the Children's Farm The Children’s Farm is a 65 acre working farm nestled in the busy South suburbs of Chicago. We provide a unique and educational, hands-on, experience for city and suburban children and adults. Home to over twenty horses, two ponies, two donkeys, three sheep, two cows, five goats, three pigs, and several chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits, we are an ideal place to experience farm life in its truest form. In addition to our animals, the farm harvests hay, oats and pumkins right in our own fields |

What
do we do? The Children’s Farm has over 30,000 guests each year. Some visitors come in the form of elementary school children on field trips, others participate in our summer camp or Jr. Farmers programs, while some are simply families enjoying quality time together while immersed in the beauty of the farm. Regardless of the reason for the visit, everyone leaves feeling more connected to the earth. |
